Ottawa University seeks candidates and/or nominations for a full-time Exercise Science position (with Athletic Training credentials) with assignment in the University's School of Education.  This position will be assigned the appropriate faculty rank based on teaching experience and academic credentials. The faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate level courses as well as have responsibilities for teaching, student advising, service to the University and community, and participate in the recruitment process of our new students.  Additional responsibilities include program assessment, curriculum development, engagement in the regional and national accreditation processes, creation and delivery of workshops, and active participation in continuous professional development.

 We seek a candidate, for a 12-month faculty position, who has a terminal degree in Exercise Science, or a related field, from an accredited institution, and with significant teaching experience.  A successful candidate must display an enthusiasm for teaching and show an interest in working with undergraduate-level (traditional and adult) learners. ABD candidates will be considered; however, the doctorate must be completed within one year of the hire date. We desire candidates who can work collaboratively with interdisciplinary faculty to create and implement innovative curricula and teaching approaches, including adapting courses for online delivery.
